About Sahar Naderi

I grew up in Irvine, California after my family emigrated to the U.S. from Afghanistan when I was two years old. I pursued a degree in psychology at Cal State Fullerton because I wanted to work closely with people and help them through their daily challenges. While in undergrad I volunteered in the Emergency Room of a local hospital, and spent every Wednesday night for two years working closely with nurses and other providers helping patients through some of the most trying moments of their lives. I became fascinated by the fast pace and excitement of the E.R., and it was then that I realized that I wanted to become a Nurse Practitioner. I spent the next three years completing my preliminary coursework for nursing school while also working full time in finance and banking. The hours were long and the work was rigorous, but well worth it.

I received my Masters in nursing from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA, where I was invited to join the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. I have worked in a broad range of clinical practices, including at UC Berkeley’s Tang Center, various community health clinics, and specialty practices throughout the Bay Area. In particular, I have focused my practice on women’s health and internal medicine.

It is a privilege to work with the outstanding practitioners here at Bayspring Medical Group, and to serve our patients who come from all over the region and the world. I enjoy meeting my patients and getting to know them to understand their needs and to address their concerns. It is my goal to develop a long-term relationship with each of my patients in order to give them the best and most consistent care possible.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking the many trails in and around San Francisco, exploring restaurants new and old, and playing board games with friends.
