About Tara Reilly

I grew up in Winsted, Connecticut and got a bachelor degree in business at Bryant College in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Realizing I wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner, I then went to Pace University in Pleasantville, New York where I became an RN. Finally becoming an NP at Pace in New York City, where I lived until I moved here in 2000. I was fortunate to become a part of the Bayspring team in 2001.

Bayspring is such a collaborative environment with a bunch of really smart and talented colleagues, and I am grateful to be working in such a progressive place. I learn something new every day! I especially love the tremendous educational opportunities I have here with my patients. Part of my mission is to provide you with the tools and information you need to optimize your health. I consider myself open-minded and try to combine my western evidenced based training with your beliefs, cultural backgrounds and alternative healing modalities. I believe in treating the mind, body and soul.

Valuing my relationship with my patients, which I realize relies heavily on communication with each other; I am readily available via email through our portal system.

Not having a car, I am an avid walker of this beautiful city and enjoy exploring different neighborhoods and their restaurants. I maintain my work/life balance by spending my free time with family and friends cooking, playing cards and camping, or just watching movies with my two hairless cats.

I can’t recommend Tara enough as a Nurse Practitioner. Tara had treated me as a patient longer than any other medial professional ever has. She is thorough, but efficient, and I completely trust her with my health. She is always forward thinking and cross-checks my family history and my own health history to inform her recommendations. She is diligent about getting back to me, whether it be by phone or the online health portal. Her bedside manner is patient, sincere, and calming – and she makes me feel very comfortable asking questions. She welcomes open communication, which is important to ensure that healthcare decisions are not compromised. She follows up appropriately if my condition or treatment requires it, and she makes it very clear what my milestones are for next steps.— Jenny S.

Tara Reilly, NP, has been my primary healthcare provider for almost 10 years and I love her! So much so, that I even commute from East Bay to see her. Tara clearly cares about and pays attention to my overall health and well-being; has a warm, friendly, and approachable manner; is responsive to out-of-office questions (submitted via Follow My Health) and communicates clearly and effectively. She stays on top of her field, is familiar with recent developments, new treatments and more. I would recommend her enthusiastically and without hesitation.— Ethan M.
